Continuous Positive Air Pressure (CPAP) Therapy-

CPAP test is used to determine the pressure setting of the CPAP machine. Pressure settings are different for every person. The pressurized air will keep the airway open during sleep.


MSLT-

The Multiple Sleep Latency Test is used to test for Narcolepsy. Four tests are performed every two hours in the morning after a PSG study.

MWT-

Multiple Wakefulness Test is performed at intervals when people are excessively sleepy. Four short studies are required to make sure that the patient is able to maintain wakefulness throughout the day.
